About Stephen
Stephen Wilson is a Virginia based visual artist who specializes in digital painting. His work aims to blend the figurative with the purely abstract by distorting the human form in ways both mystical and earthbound. By fusing both the biomorphic and the surreal, he simultaneously obscures and accentuates the human form in ways that push traditional figurative drawing to is limits.
His work delves into various concepts including the human experience, mental health, and common struggle in order to create a relatable space for all to recognize and reflect on their experiences in life.
